Statutory and Trust Supporters
Eaves’ mission is to support vulnerable women who have experienced violence, including trafficking, domestic violence or rape. We give these women a voice and a place in society by providing innovative services and training opportunities to support and empower them. We also conduct research to inform policy, and lobby policy-makers to ensure women’s needs are recognised.
Since 1977 the support we have received from charitable trusts and foundations has enabled Eaves to provide our services for free to anyone who needs them. The generosity of our funders means we are able to support vulnerable women by providing:
- safe accommodation, support and advocacy for women and their children fleeing domestic violence, for women trafficked into the UK and for victims of domestic violence who have no recourse to public funds
- emergency grants for women in crisis
- specialist support and counselling
- advice on women’s rights, including benefits, housing and legal advice
- peer support to reduce isolation and share experiences
- help to begin volunteering, training, education and employment
- a greater knowledge of local and national information and support services available
