Detailed Description
Eaves is a charity which offers high quality support to vulnerable women who have experienced violence, through various support, accommodation and research projects. An opportunity has arisen within the fundraising department and we are looking to recruit for a Corporate Fundraising Volunteer..
The Corporate Fundraising Volunteer will:
- Invite people to our events by phone, by email, by hard copy invitation.
- Cold call/email companies to ask for donations in kind.
- Input on our ThankQ database.
- Perform admin duties such as sending out thank you letters, emailing information to event guests etc.
- Deal with some events management (logistics).
- Carry out research (by phone and on the internet).
Ideally applicants will have some experience and knowledge around the following areas:
- Experience of using a database.
- Experience of research by phone and on the internet
- Keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Computer skills: must be adept in use of MS Office 2000 or later, particularly Excel and Word, and some database experience: Internet and email.
- Excellent level of written English.
- Excellent phone manner.

We are looking for someone to commit to three days per week for a minimum of 4 months. This can be arranged around your availability.
